EIA: Crude inventories rise, imports rise a good chunk

GasBuddy Blog -- The Energy Information Administration released its weekly report on the condition of petroleum inventories in the United States today.

Here are some highlights:

CRUDE INVENTORIES:
Crude oil inventories increased by 3.8 million barrels to a total of 364.5 million barrels. At 364.5 million barrels, inventories are 7.5 million barrels above last year (2.1%) and are above the upper limit of the average range.

GASOLINE INVENTORIES:
Gasoline inventories decreased by 1.5 million barrels to 201.2 million barrels. At 201.2 million barrels, inventories are down 7.4 million barrels, or 3.6% lower than last year. Here's how individual regions and their gasoline inventory fared last week: East Coast (-0.1mb); Midwest...

It doesn't do any good to post here about the speculators and Pig-oil. Show them who is boss and immediately STOP BUYING HIGH PRICE GAS. Not a gallon or a dollars worth until it is below $2.00 Begin today and drive right by the stations, do not patronize any one that is reaping obscene profits. You will sleep better knowing you are doing something about high gas prices. Join the boycott and sign the pledge to stop buying gas until it is below $2.

Now, if they would get back to refining the oil prices should drop, but wait, that impacts their record profits.
