If it has 5% more ethanol, or 5% less gasoline, ("half empty/half full") then logically the price is varying by 5% also? Oh wait, what am I thinking, there is no LOGIC in gasoline pricing...

flyboyUT, are you saying you have tried an ethanol/diesel blend or blends? Did you blend it yourself and what percentage(s)?

We are selling it as well Jacksfan. We know Scott! We have been selling it for quite some time...just out of the yellow hose. Scott is selling it out of the black hose which is what all the "hubbub" is about. He is selling quite a bit of E15 too!

Link to posting on e15 selling for 1.15
"promotion for two hours where E15 was sold for $1.15 per gallon. During the promotion, 3,000 gallons of E15 were sold. "
"Given current market conditions, E15 will sell less than E10 and gasoline not containing ethanol. The Zarco 66 “Oasis” is selling E15 for two cents less than E10."It's currently either 3.469, or 3.449 (not sure if the price listed in gasbuddy is for e15, or e10)...

I guess the first station in Kansas was selling it for $1.15 per gallon.

Oh, rest assured, I don't. I don't even buy E10 for my Saturn. Couldn't be simpler. The problem is that doing that is getting more and more challenging, thanks to the yahoos who like to force their choices down others' throats. And E15 is the next level thereof. Or to put it more picturesquely: "When they came with the E10 I said nothing because I was not using E10..."

If you don't like it sluggy, don't buy it. Pretty simple, really.

Please keep it confined to Kansas. Let Dorothy and Toto run on it and see if they make it to the yellow brick road.

I ran a E44 blend in my Prius and it ran just fine and got 46 mpg. No codes set either. It was $2.75 cheaper than running straight 87 octane. Around here E85 is from 55 cents to 70 cents a gallon cheaper than 87 octane.
E44 is 5 gallons E85 blended with 6 gallons 87 octane.

I likewise have seen a couple of stations here in Illinois selling E15 already.
As I recall, one is in Springfield while the other is in Gibson City. I posted about them a month or so ago on a separate thread along with E85 prices.
Both seem to be using blender pumps as they also offered other ethanol gasoline mixes at the same pump.
I saw a station in DeKalb today selling E10, E20 and E85 all at the same pump. The E20 was only 1 cent less than the E10 (87). What the point of that is, I have no idea. This is an older station with many older pumps and this was the only newer (but not brand new) one. Since they do not appear to be selling mid-grade or premium any longer, they may be using various tanks for the different ethanol blends, but where would they source E20 in a smallish community like DeKalb?

I know where there is a blender pump with E15 available for a year already. I took a picture of it again this morning.

Unless a station already has blender pumps and sell a high ethanol blend like E85, they will need to look very carefully to determine if it makes economic sense.

Anyone know if the pump is a blender pump? I think the two orange buttons on the right are E85 and another high ethanol blend, but can't read them in the photo provided. The button on the far left is the E15, but marked 90 Octane. The E15 warning lable is to the left of that, so an unsuspecting high octane user may not realize they are pumping E15.
I've said before that I doubt many stations would install a new E15 tank. In this instance, they are either buying E15 and storing it in their 90 Octane tank or blending it in the pump.
