The North Aurora Woodmans is holding steady at $3.39 for E85 and has 87 E10 at $3.81 and 93 E10 was $4.09. Considering prices near home are still in the $4.14-$4.19 range for 87 E10, it would have been worth the drive even if I was filling it with gas!

E85 is priced as low at $2.99 in Michigan today, with E10 gasoline over $4.29 at many locations, E85 is a much better deal.

You may be experiencing different stations using higher ethanol % during this month. I believe June is when the change is made to full 85%. 85% vs 70% may give your car a different mpg.

While I didn't pay attention to the Thorntons last weekend Prof (actually, I forgot to look), that Speedway had a 51% stixker on it instead of the 70% sticker like Woodmans usually has. I figured that should have been the case too, but mileage and performance seems to suffer, shouldn't it be one or the other that suffers when the ethanol content changes?

WhiskeyBurner - E85 can range down to E70 or so. Various retailers may be selling differing percentages of ethanol/gasoline. Your vehicle may well perform better on one mix % than it does on another.

$2.85 at Holiday 420 66th Ave N & Hwy 252. Noticed they are now selling at 80 cents lower than 87 octane. Used to be $1.20 a gallon cheaper. Still 80 cents a gallon cheaper than gasoline is a no-brainer to run E85.

I bot gasohol in Grand Island at $3.44. Their E85 was $3.29.
I have been using E85 over 3 weeks with all driving conditions. Haven't summarized results yet. With gas coming down slightly and corn going up, I have to go back to gasohol.

We're running at $3.25 here in Grand Rapids, Michigan. 87 Octane is going for between $3.79 and $3.99
I use E85 every chance I get because the ethanol is locally produced. However, if you're just shopping price, you want E85 to be 85% or less of the price of 87 Octane to be at the "break-even point" when taking fuel mileage into account.
Some specialists on this ethanol forum will disagree with the 85% number, but 85% is the "general rule of thumb".
