Intersting to know. Do you buy gas because anyhwere because... You have a card from that certain station ? You can't be bothered on the price? Points from that station? Sometimes people do get better mileage out of one brand than they do another and that would make the more expensive brand cheaper to use in the long run. For example: If brand A is $2.70/gal and you get 20 mpg on average out of it it costs you 13.5 cents per mile to run it. If brand B is $2.60/gal but your only getting 18 mpg on average out of it it will cost you 14.444 cents a mile to run. So by using brand A you may pay more per gallon but because of the better average fuel economy you get out of it it ends up being .944 cents a mile cheaper to run. In a years time if you drive 15,000 miles that is a savings of $141.60 in fuel costs. Doesn't sound like a lot but every little bit helps.
